About Us

Our Mission and Vision

Mission Accessibility is a not for profit organization co-founded by two lawyers who are blind, Rahul Bajaj and Amar Jain. We at Mission Accessibility, wish to create a society that enables full, equal and barrier free participation for People with disabilities

Our approach combines policy formulation and implementation, advocacy, legal reform, public sensitization and awareness, capacity building and training, and research and analysis through diverse tasks that we undertake on daily basis.

We are on the cusp of leading a movement, encompassing diverse stakeholders from People with disabilities, the government, the judiciary, various corporations, civil society organizations and the public at large.

  • 2021 – Formation of Mission Accessibility Mission Accessibility was established in 2021 as a dedicated initiative to advance disability rights and promote accessibility.
  • 2022 – Registration and Campaigns Mission Accessibility was formally registered in 2022, beginning structured advocacy and collaborations, and launching its first public campaign.
  • 2023 – Legal Interventions and Wins In 2023, Mission Accessibility instituted a landmark case on media accessibility and expanded its work to digital accessibility. The year saw significant legal and advocacy wins, strengthening the push for inclusive access across platforms.
  • 2024 – Expansion of Advocacy Mission Accessibility came of age in 2024, taking up more than 45 cases on behalf of persons with disabilities, reflecting its growing role as a leading voice for disability rights.
  • 2025 – Steady Progress Mission Accessibility continues to pursue its mission, one step at a time, deepening impact through ongoing cases, partnerships, and accessibility initiatives.

Rahul Bajaj

Co-founder

Co-Founder of Mission Accessibility, is a Rhodes Scholar with two master’s degrees in Law from the University of Oxford. Drawing on his lived experience and legal expertise, he champions accessibility and equity for persons with disabilities, shaping the vision and mission of the organization.

Amar Jain

Co-founder

Co-Founder of Mission Accessibility, is a disability rights advocate and practising lawyer. A recipient of India’s highest civilian award for persons with disabilities and the NCPEDP Mphasis Javed Abidi Public Policy Award, he drives reforms in access to justice, financial inclusion, and accessibility as a member of the Delhi High Court Legal Services Committee.

A 2024 graduate of Gujarat National Law University, with experience in litigation, legal research, and policy analysis through work at the Supreme Court of India, Square Circle Clinic, and the Centre for Mental Health Law and Policy. A former Criminal Justice Fellow and Well-being Ambassador, continuing to advance mental health advocacy, accessibility, and legal reforms.
