PARTNERSHIPS
The Mission Accessibility has undertaken numerous Partnerships with diverse initiatives to further the interest and reach of the accessibility to the People in Need. We have been working with the mentioned initiatives regularly:
Billion Readers Initiative
Mission Accessibility and the Billion Readers Initiative (BIRD) collaborate on enhancing media accessibility and language literacy for PwDs. This is done through structural interventions that are aimed at the creation of a conducive policy environment to promote greater accessibility of electronic media content and platforms for such persons.
Belongg
Mission Accessibility is an advisor/consultant for Belongg for the Inclusive Products Manager fellowship. This fellowship aims to train product managers about accessibility and inclusion in the digital realm. MA is able to provide subject matter expertise on promoting such inclusion for PwDs.
BML Munjal School of Law
MA and the BML Munjal University School of Law have entered into a collaboration, pursuant to which the legal aid clinic at the School of Law has made disability rights a core focus area of its work, specifically, the clinic assists MA with research and drafting assistance for its legal cases and provides exposure to the students at the clinic on disability rights and other related areas.
Radio Udaan
Radio Udaan is a radio station dedicated to news and updates on disability rights. MA and Radio Udaan jointly run a fortnightly show that covers a deep dive into Mission Accessibility’s legal interventions and other important developments in the disability rights legal and policy ecosystem.
